Introduction

 

The television program CBS Sunday Morning aired a segment on December 10, 2000 on a new imaging technology developed by the Hewlett-Packard Imaging Labs. This new "variable light view" technique was tested in cooperation with the West Semitic Research Project at the University of Southern California and the Yale Babylonian Collection at Yale University.
