Navigation Sequences Resulting From Selecting
"List by Text"
A third way to narrow the database to images of a single Text is to select
desired features on the Query Definition Bar and select
"List Results by Text" at the bottom of Screen 2, Main Search
Screen.
If the user selects "List Results by Text":
- Screen 2, Main
Search Screen navigates to Screen 3B, Results Summary (listed by
Text).
- From the list of
Texts, the user selects a single Text.

"List by Text" are represented in Chart 3, middle.]
Scenario 3A
- From the Corpus
drop-down menu, User selects "Dead Sea Scrolls".
- User selects
"List by" = "Text"
- User selects 1QapGen
ar, a Text with Search/Display Type = 2.
Scenario 3B
- User selects
"Language" = "Aramaic"
- User selects
"List by" = Text
- User selects
"Dead Sea Scrolls"
- User selects
"1QapGen ar", a Text with Search/Display Type = 2.

3A and 3B.
Although it must be possible to make selections in more than one column,
for the prototype, the programmers do not have the responsibility to prevent
conflicts. The program should simply take the LAST selection and give
the result regardless of subsequent combinations.
Tables 3A.1, 3A.2/3B.2, and 3A.3/3B.3 list the navigation sequence for
Scenarios 3A.
Tables 3B.1, 3A.2/3B.2, and 3A.3/3B.3 list the navigation sequence for
Scenario 3B. Note that the navigation sequences are the same, but the
Results Summary listings are different.
